The web app is designed for shared cloud projects. It gives collaborators a browser workspace while the project owner controls membership and permissions.
Sign in and open a shared project
- Open the WriCo web app and select Continue with Apple.
- Use the account that received access to the collaborative project.
- Choose a project from the project list. If the project is not there, ask the owner to check the invitation and role.
- Use the project navigation to open information, scenes, entities, statistics, Ask Your Story or import.
Invite and assign roles
The owner can invite a collaborator, update their role and remove access. The available roles are:
- Owner
- Controls the project, membership and owner-level settings.
- Editor
- Edits the story within the permissions granted by the project.
- Viewer
- Reads the project but cannot make editing changes.
Per-entity permissions can further restrict create, update or delete actions. A missing button can therefore be a permission decision, not a loading error.
Understand private and collaborative projects
Private projects use local storage in the Apple app and can be mirrored through iCloud. Collaborative projects use the shared backend and can be opened in the web app. Keep the storage mode visible in your workflow so you do not expect a private iCloud project to appear in a browser.
When another collaborator edits
WriCo reads the current shared snapshot and protects against silently overwriting a newer version. If an editing conflict appears, compare the remote version with your local changes and choose deliberately which work to keep.
