Most problems have a safe next step. Start by identifying the platform, project storage mode and action that failed; then avoid repeating a destructive or cloud-heavy action until the state is clear.
I cannot find my project
Check that you are signed in with the right Apple account and that the project is collaborative. Private iCloud projects appear in the Apple app, not in the web project list. If an invitation is pending, ask the owner to resend it or confirm your role.
Changes are not visible on another device
Confirm the devices use the same account and that the project is in the expected storage mode. Give a recent change time to propagate, then refresh the project. Do not keep editing an old copy when WriCo reports a newer version; review the conflict first.
The web app says access is unavailable
Web access is intended for collaborative projects and may require the collaboration capability. Sign in again, check the project role and ask the owner whether the invitation or entity-level permission changed.
Import failed or expired
Confirm the file type and size, select the source file again if the upload was interrupted, and start a new import when the previous one expired. If applying the import failed, verify that no items were added before retrying.
Ask Your Story cannot answer
Use a more specific question, confirm that the project has indexed story content and check cloud access or quota. A response with no evidence is a signal to inspect the project data, not a reason to fill the gap with an assumption.
The AI review is unavailable
AI analysis is optional and can depend on plan, network, service availability and project content. Review the source fields locally, save your work and try again later. Never delete the source project to resolve a failed analysis.
I see a conflict
Another device or collaborator saved a newer project version. Compare the remote version and your local edits, keep the intended changes and let WriCo reconcile before continuing.
